Description :
| The music for the film "How I Killed a Saint" is a group work of the French born composer/viola player Olivier Samouillan and Project ZLUST. The recording started in April 2003 and involved a large number of Macedonian musicians under the name of Project ZLUST, including Zdravko Angelov on clarinet and bass clarinet, Leonid Pejsahov on violin and Verica Miloshevska on vocals among the others. "The combination of viola, violin, cello, percussion, and double bass creates a unique, emotional atmosphere and the beauty of this release is caught both in simple melodic lines and in a dense sound world." AllAboutJazz.com "This album is a true labor of love. We gave the best of ourselves. We started making the music with little knowledge of how things are done, yet assured that when time comes everyone will do what is needed..." Olivier Samouillan The music was entirely recorded in Skopje by Bojan Ugrinovski (assisted by Fote Vasilevski and Alen Hadzi-Stefanov) in the ever-moving studio of the ZLUST's, mixed by Eric Volpati in Bazus, a pictoresque village near Toulouse and mastered by Ananda Cherer in Toulouse.
