| Description: | Pauline Hallink has been active in the world of jazz now for 14 years. Mrs. Hallink is not only a jazz singer, but also a full-time flight attendant for KLM. Her initials, PH, coincide with the registration code of the Dutch airplanes, hence the name of her backing group PH5. Pauline Hallink's love and determination for the music, combined with a superb interpretation of jazz standards, bossa nova and ballads, has taken her all over her native land (Netherlands), abroad to Taiwan and to the USA. She performed with great success at MAKFEST '96 & '97 in Stip, Macedonia, a festival under the patronage of FIDOF. Pauline Hallink's CD contains material of various songwriters and is produced by producer/composer Marcel East, producer/composer (Earth Wind & Fire, Huey Lewis, Fourplay, etc.) On her Cd she get a fantastic crew of Musicians to enhance her great voice. You will find Steve Ferrone (Average White Band, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and heartbreakers) on drums, Morris Pleasure (Natalie Cole, Najee, Ray Charles and musical director of EWF) on piano, James East (Sergio Mendes, Solar sister) on bass, Ralph Johnson (original member of Earth,Wind & Fire) on percussion, Ricardo Silveira (Milton Nacsimento, Toots Thieleman) on guitar, Osama Afifi on upright bass.
