| Description: | The CD by HOBOUD came into being in Olsztyn, the capital of Warmia region in twenty first century Poland. The songs included here had their glory days a couple of centuries ago and the local Warmian dialect based on the seventheenth century Polsh has disappeared nearly completely. For a long time we felt a need to get to know the forgotten culture of the region we came from. The information of Warmia's past is scarce and rather vague. The new project HOBOUD is an outcome of our quest and a dream to reinvent and bring back what has been forgotten and lost forever. | |
