Genre:Indian - Ghazal
Description:Asha Bhosle, the eternal enchantress and the leading Bollywood diva shows her versatility in this collection of Ghazals (a conversation between two lovers). This album is a compilation of classic Ghazals of which, interestingly, all the compositions are based on a Raaga (a mood, which is the result of a blend of certain notes, rendered in a style typical to Indian classical music) or a combination of Raagas. The songs are produced in various styles of contemporary music ranging from Lounge, Pop and Pop-Rock to Funk and Jazz-Rock. The foundation for the music of the Ghazal is laid purely on North Indian Classical Music. This album is produced by Pandit Somesh Mathur
