Description:RBB (Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg, or the Berlin-Brandenburg Broadcasting Corporation), is the regional public broadcaster for the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg. RBB was launched on 1st May 2003, following a merger of the broadcasters ORB (Brandenburg) and SFB (Berlin). The sound archive includes broadcast recordings of classical and light music broadcasts from 1934 until 2000, including the Reichs Rundfunk Gesellschaft recordings, with performances from the Berliner Philharmoniker, DSO, RSB, Jazzfest Berlin, SFB Tanzorchester, Paul Kuhn, Werner Eisbrenner and others.
