| Description: | Chicago Blues Council Hardy Petrick – Manager/Producer/Songwriter Keyboards, vocals, drums, guitar Bass,sax,Hammond B3. Bill Wolf - Songwriter - Vocals, blues harp, percussion Rafael Beitelia – Songwriter -- Guitar, vocals, bass. “CBC” was formed in 1995 by 3 multi-instrumental musicians who played professionally in several bands in the 60’s and 70’s (Blues, R&B, Rock, Wedding,etc.) We originated the band to play private parties and corporate gigs. Liking the way the band sounded, we decided to record our first album – CBC – Vol 1.(mostly covers). Wanting more control over our time and sound quality, our own recording studio was purchased, (HLP Studios, Niles, IL.) creating – CBC – Vol 2. (5 covers, 7 original compositions) About 1 year of writing and recording yielded CBC – Vol .3. (All-original music). Our current endeavor (Chicago Blues Council Vol.4 - Bad Luck) , is also all original music , taking about one year to complete. CBC-Vol.4 – Bad Luck contains 11 tracks of songs done in various styles ranging from hardcore-blues to rock & roll and is currently being played on some cruise ships in the discos and pool decks. Several restaurants in Acapulco Mexico are playing this album to lure American tourists into their establishments. | |
