Description:Upcoming artist Mzungu Kichaa is a pioneer of one of the biggest contemporary genres in africa. In East Africa he has a huge following, and in Europe he has been instrumental in trancending cultural barriers, particularly in Denmark. His guitar and vocals can be heard on countless tracks from Tanzania, including early Bongo Flava tracks by Juma Nature, Mangwaire and Solo Thang recorded at Bongo Records in Dar es Salaam. The album TUKO PAMOJA is available on Itunes, and is currently distributed in Denmark, Tanzania and Kenya. Songs like Jitolee, Oya Oya and Tuko Pamoja are receiving a lot of airplay in Kenya, Tanzania, Holland and Denmark and the music video for Jitolee is currently no. 2 on the East African charts. Mzungu Kichaa has been nominated for Best Upcoming Artist at the African Achievement Award to be held in October 09 in Copenhagen.
