| Description: | The main aim of COLUMNA MÚSICA is the recuperation of the Catalan and Hispanic musical patrimony, basically centred around the Baroque Period, still so full of excellent surprises (such as pieces by J. Barter, J. Cererols, J. Comes, S. Durón, Ll. Gargallo, J. Hidalgo, F. Olivellas, F. Valls, J. Rosell, T. Milans, A. Literes, J. Carcoler, E. Gònima and F. Juncà that we have recorded for the first time), and mainly around the composers of the XIX and XX centuries, often still quite unknown (such as Pedrell, Lamote de Grignon, Albéniz, Nin, Blancafort, Ruera, Homs, Nin-Culmell, Montsalvatge and Guinjoan, among others), through unpublished recordings of great technical quality and by highly qualified artists. In addition, Columna Música also wants to be a platform for the promotion of new talents, not only as regards composing, but also interpretation, with the desire to contribute to the renovation and encouragement of a new generation that is coming into its own. | |
